2009 Provincial Labour Market Engagement Sessions
The Ministry of Housing and Social Development (HSD), the Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market (ALMD), and the Ministry of Community and Rural Development (CD) in collaboration with Service Canada, are pleased to provide an opportunity for a representative from your organization to participate in an engagement session to discuss the provincial labour market.
In particular, representatives from various government ministries interested in engaging stakeholders in a discussion regarding provincial employment and labour market services and development in order to share and solicit information that will inform government planning and program development. Dialogue will focus on the array of programs and services offered by the province and where government is moving to improve these for the public and clients.

Please also indicate whether you will participate on-site or online, and indicate your date and time preference.
Face-to-Face Scheduled Sessions
Engagement sessions will be held across the province in the following locations:
- October 20: Chilliwack
- October 21: Surrey
- October 22: Vancouver
- October 26: Prince Rupert
- October 28: Nelson
- November 2: Dawson Creek
- November 4: Prince George
- November 9: Courtenay
- November 13: Victoria
- November 18: Kamloops
- November 19: Kelowna
Online Scheduled Sessions
If you are unable to participate in one of these sessions, government representatives are also offering online sessions according to the following schedule:
- Thursday, Nov. 26th, 9:30am-12pm for Vancouver Island and the Coast
- Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, 9:30am-12pm for the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley
- Thursday, Dec. 3rd, 9:30am-12pm for the Interior, Kootenays, and the North

Please note: In order to participate in the online session, you will need a computer with Windows 2000, XP, or Vista and the ability to download a software patch from Microsoft (to be provided).
